Service Description
Meet for fortyfive minutes to improve your balance and begin to strengthen bones and muscles with Pilates based standing exercises. Join our friendly group where you can chat before and after class, ask questions and check you are doing it 'right'. No need to get up or down from the floor, you will be standing throughout the class. Bring a mat as we practice in socks or barefoot. A mat can be borrowed for your first class. Grip socks are available in class for £14. Delivered in line with Royal Osteoporosis Society exercise guidelines around being Strong, Steady and Straight, this course is suitable for anyone wanting to prevent falls, including, but not only, those with a diagnosis of osteopenia or osteoporosis. If you cannot attend a pre-booked workshop or 1-1 session, please contact us 24 hours in advance to reschedule. For courses and blocks of classes, please contact us 24 hours in advance if you cannot attend a session, in which case you are welcome to receive a recorded class in place of the live. Please note that bookings cannot be refunded, except where classes do not run. Minimum numbers apply to all courses and classes.
